Document Description
An application for a Conditional Use Permit to construct thirty-six (36) additional parking stalls (8 1/2'x18') on the Western portion of Lot 31544 at 31544 Castaic Road for an existing motel complex (Comfort Inn). The project will also include constructing an "L" curb and sidewalk adjacent to Castaic Road along the Western boundary, a 40' wide access driveway from the proposed parking area to Castaic Road with 8'x 80' planters adjacent to the driveway along the Northern and Southern boundaries, 30' wide access driveway from the proposed parking area to Ridge Route Road, and an island with landscaping at the center of the parking lot. CUP 86-134 for the existing 142 unit motel complex, located on the same lot, was approved on 8/8/86. 34,240 square feet will be covered by structures/paving, and 1,480 square feet will be covered by structures/paving, and 1,580 square feet will be covered by landscaping.
