Document Description
The Village at Playa Vista consists of the following two components: (1) a mixed-use community ("the Urban Development Component"); and (2) a Riparian Corridor and restoration and maintenance of a portion of the Westchester Bluffs adjacent to the Riparian Corridor (the "Habitat Creation/Restoration Component"). On April 6, 2010, the Los Angeles City Council passed ordinances for a specific plan amendment, zone change, and development agreement for the project. Mayor Villaraigosa subsequently approved the ordinances on April 19, 2010. Previously the City filed, and the County Clerk posted, a Notice of Determination regarding the Los Angeles City Council's March 26, 2010, certification of the Final Environmental Impact Report for the project. The City Council also approved a general plan amendment and denied appeals of the applicant's tract map on March 26th.
