Document Description
Repair living room and office windows and rehabilitate dilapidated floor in upstairs restroom of historic Old Whaling Station at Monterey State Historic Park. Openings around windows currently allow the intrusion of air and moisture into structure. Remove and repair windows as necessary, then reinstall with new calking. Existing upstairs restroom floor has severe strains and has exceeded its sevice life. Repair/replace floor with new linoleum; inspect and replace existing underlayment if necessary. New flooring will not significantly affect historic fabric of structure. Project protects cultural resources and supports continued use and maintenance.
