Document Description
The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), Dayton Heights Elementary School Playground Addition site is bounded by Melrose Avenue to the north, Westmoreland Avenue to the east, apartments to the west, and the Dayton Heights Elementary School to the south. A concrete wall divides the site from the adjacent residences to the west. The approximately 22,500-square feet site is currently cleared of structures and vacant. Formerly, the site consisted of five residential houses and four detached garages constructed in approximately 1919. In 201 the structures were demolished and removed by the former property owner. The site is currently chain-link fenced and locked.
