Document Description
The project proposes to alter the streambed to install a 24-inch storm drain, which will be approximately 800 feet long, with its outlet into Mission Zanja Channel. The outlet construction will involve excavation of the bank and installation of a 24-inch RCP outlet pipe, construction of a grouted rip rap outlet pad, construction of a 4-foot deep cout-off wall, installation of a reinforced concrete headwall, and reconstruction of existing rail and wire revetment to connect to the new headwall. Unpon completion of the installation of the pipe, headwall, outlet pad, cut-off wall, and revetment, the channel bank and bottom will be backfilled, compacted, and restored.
