Document Description
The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (Metropolitan) proposes to replace fourteen isolation valves at the Covina Pressure Control Structure in the city of Covina. The valves range in size from 8 to 16 inches. The proposed project also involves the replacement of four valves at the Greg Avenue Control Structure in the city of Los Angeles. The existing pneumatic actuated valves would be replaced with electric motor actuated valves. In addition, Metropolitan proposes to conduct design activities and prepare environmental documentation for the interior and exterior recoating of the two existing water storage tanks at the Sepulveda Canyon Control Facility in the city of Los Angeles.
