Document Description
The project is the realigned section westerly of the existing roadway and would involve excavation of existing hillsides and filling of a portion of an existing swale. Existing underground high-pressure gas lines, overhead power lines and telephone lines that conflict with the proposed improvements will be relocated prior to construction. The realigned road would include paved shoulders, as well as a truck-climbing land on the uphill segments of Vasco Road. The project purpose is to improve safety, minimize traffic delays, upgrade the road to current design standards and accommodate public transit use.
