Document Description
Specific Plan to guide the redevelopment of an older shopping center containing a number of vacant buildings and lots, under-utilized parcels, a vacant historic movie theater, an older civic area (with County Library and community buildings) as well as some currently viable commercial uses such as restaurants, supermarket and banks. The Specific Plan addresses the possibility of new, mixed use, residential/commercial development and a new civic area taking advantage of nearby transit routes. The Project is intended to benefit local and county-wide residents and local property owners by enhancing commercial and civic areas and by providing related housing opportunities.
