The property is currently designated Commercial in the General Plan and is zoned Planned Unit District (P-1). The property is developed with several small structures and outbuildings which are proposed to be demolished.
The proposed project consists of the development of a U-Haul Self-Storage and Truck Rental facility. The proposed development includes a two-story 73,600 square froot main building, five single-story storage buildings totaling 21,750 square feet, and outdoor storage area for a recreational vehicles, a truck rental facility, and a small retail shop in the main building. Implementation of the proposed project requires Planning Commission review of a Land Use Permit.
