The project is a proposal for a major grading permit to improve approximately 2600 feet of an existing non-conforming private road. The existing 10-12 foot paved road is within a 60-foot easement and serves residences on Elevado Road. The proposal includes widening the road to 24 feet paved per Fire Department Standards. In addition to the grading, the proposal includes water main line installation, underground electrical and telephone services, a future private gated entry, and incidental drainage facilities. The proposed grading will occur on approximately 3.6 acres and will include a balanced cut and fill of 8500 cubic yards and a maximum cut and fill slope ratio of 2:1.
