Document Description
The Saugus Union School District ("District") previously considered and approved a MND for the construction and operation of the proposed Copper Hill Elementary School on approximately 20 acres of land already owned by the District. The Copper Hill Project contemplated the grading of approximately 20 acres of undeveloped land, construction of a 70,000 square foot elementary school, as well as related appurtenant structures, facilities, and site improvement work, specifically delineated in connection with that project, to serve approximately 950 students in grades K-6. The District now seeks to amend the Copper Hill Project to include, in addition to the previously considered on-site and off-site improvements, the importation and compacting of up to 260,000 cubic yards of excess soil materials from a site contiguous to the Copper Hill Project site and owned by Dentec Holding, Inc., or its successors or assigns.
