Document Description
The County Sheriffs Department, the Los Angeles Police Department and Cal State LA have entered into a cooperative agreement to develop a state-of-the-art crime laboratory at the 6.5-acre parking lot. The Regional Crime Laboratory Facility will be an approximately 200,000 square-foot building, with five stories and a penthouse. The proposed facility will house the Los Angeles Police Department's and Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department's Crime Laboratories, as well as science laboratories and classroom facilities for Cal State LA.
