Document Description
Orcutt Creek will be realigned over approximately 650 feet to accommodate new athletic fields. The banks of Acacia Creek (900 linear feet) will be stabilized at locations where they are currently vertical. Bank stabilization of both creeks will include elevating the top of the bank to ensure that runoff from the athletic fields does not enter the drainage. The project is located on the west side of Broad Street (Highway 227) at the eastern edge of the City of San Luis Obispo. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-1066 pursuant to Section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code to the project operator, Paul LeSage, Director, Parks and Recreation Department.
