Document Description
The Department of General Services proposes to retrofit this state facility in order to conserve energy and reduce expenses. This project will include the following: remove two existing chillers and provide three new high efficiency electric hermetric centrifugal chillers, install three new primary and secondary chilled water pumps, provide three 5 kV circuit breakers and starters for CH-1 (230 kW), CH-2 (460 kW), and CH-3 (460 kW), and replace existing 500 kVA substation and 800 amp motor control center with a 750 kVA substation and 1000 amp motor control center to accommodate additional cooling tower fan and pump.
