Document Description
The Department of General Services proposes to retrofit this state building in order to conserve energy and reduce expenses. The project consist of the following tasks: add variable speed drives to control the cooling towers, chilled water pumps and condenser water pumps, provide required line voltage conduit and wiring to the new speed drives; upgrade the DDC control system sequences with start/stop time optimization, load optimization, demand limiting & automatic system reset capability for the control variables; install new DDC control hardware & software to perform chilled water supply temperature reset, differential pressure reset, supply air temperature reset, supply air pressure reset, install parking garage carbon monoxide (CO) system with variable speed drives on the fan motors; install occupancy sensors to control interior lighting; and replace existing zone controls with direct digital control (DDC) system.
