Document Description
The Department of General Services proposes to retrofit this state facility in order to conserve energy and reduce expenses. The Santa Rosa Office Building is a four-story office building constructed in 1983. The building has a large floor to ceiling atrium area with a retractable roof. Offices are located on all floors around the perimeter of the atrium. This project will include the following: install variable speed drives on several existing motors, rehabilitation work on existing air handlers and install time clock on existing water heater. This project will not only decrease energy costs related to gas consumption, but will also reduce energy and maintenance costs to this facility.
