Document Description
Remove exotic invasive Scotch Broom plant from Pergala roadway area at Hearst San Simeon State Historic Museum and adjacent Hearst Ranch to preserve and protect native vegetation and reduce fire hazard in treated areas. Cut broom at ground level, then stack cuttings and burn at a later date. Monitor and treat re-sprouts with herbicide (trade name "Round-up") as necessary.
