Document Description
SAA R3-2002-0698 The Goldridge Resource Conservation District proposes to install off-stream cattle watering systems on two ranches operated along Fay Creek. These systems are intended to keep the cattle out of the creek, where they currently congregate for water. Each of the proposed off stream watering systems includes a small solar powered pump, a one-inch plastic pipe main distribution line, an 1100 gallon storage tank, and two 400 gallon water troughs. The pumping rate for each pump will be about 1 gpm. The pumps may be installed either by setting the intake screen in a small pool in the streambed or by installing a well casing in the bed of the stream and inserting the intake screen into the well casing.
