Document Description
Renovate campfire center and concession area at McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Historic Park, as proposed in the park's Core Area Development Plan. This will inlcude demolition of the existing campfire center, conversion of the existing concession-operated store, restroom, and replacement campfire center. In keeping with preservation of the park's cultural resources, the new campfire center will be located outside the viewshed of the historic cultural landscape. New walkways will be installed or existing walks renovated to provide ADA access to the site. All ground-disturbing activities will be monitored by a Pit Indian Tribal representative. Work will provide improved visitor services, protect cultural resources, and support continued use and maintenance.
