Document Description
Under the proposed project, the California Army National Gurad would construct and operate a modern Organizational Maintenance Shop (OMS) and Readiness Center at Parks Reserve Forces Training Area in Dublin, Alameda County. The 29,686-square foot OMS would be constructed over 18 months, and the 93, 525-square foot Readiness Center would be completed in 22 months. The total surface area to be disturbed is an estimated 24.4 acres. The OMS would have a full-time staff of 20 employees servicing 35 to 45 vehicles per week. The Readiness would employ 20 to 25 full-time employees. Approximately 400 soldiers would continue to train at the installation on drill weekends, which occur twice a month.
