Document Description
This is a request to use 10 acres of a 40 acre property for the establishment of a facility to collect, compost, spread, bulk sales and bagging for organic waste, primarily manure, from dairies. A 75 foot by 125 foot metal building to house the bagging operation is proposed. Organic material will be stored on site. A series of piles 15 to 20 feet in height, covering five acres in total. Ten to twelve daily daily spreaders on site, along with approximately 8 employees. Approximately 500,000 tons of material would be processed annually.
