Document Description
The Department of Motor Vehicles proposes to construct a new Sacramento South DMV field office to replace the existing field office on Florin Mall Drive. The new building will be an approximately 15,000 square foot single-story structure on 3.5 acres to be acquired by the State. The project also includes the construction of a fenced, paved parking lot with 176 parking spaces for use by employees and DMV customers. The new facility would accomodate up to 36 DMV employees. Development of the site would include trees and plants to be installed along the perimeter of the site, as well as throughout the parking lot and around the new building. Nighttime lighting will be placed around the DMV building for security.
