Document Description
The project is the final phase of the City Council approved Eaton Road Extension Project (EIR SCH # 2002092053). This phase completes the widening of the roadway to a four-lane facility and consists of improvements for approximately 2.15 miles of E. Eaton Road between E. Lassen Avenue and Wildwood Park. Specifically, the Project will widen E. Eaton Road to four lanes between Ceanothus Avenue and Wildwood Park near East Avenue and includes buffered bike lanes and curb, gutter, and sidewalk. A new eastbound lane with bike lane will be constructed from Ceanothus Avenue to Lance Terrace, and a new westbound lane with bike lane, median and sidewalk will be constructed from Lance Terrace to Wildwood Park. The project includes pavement surface treatments between E. Lassen Avenue and Floral Avenue, pavement delineation and markings for updated lane configurations along the corridor, and four new traffic signals at the following intersections along Eaton Road: E. Lassen Avenue, Mariposa Avenue, Ceanothus Avenue, and Marigold Avenue.
