Document Description
The Project Sponsor proposes to replace its in-patient medical facilities on the existing Kaiser Permanente Redwood City Medical Center campus (Medical Center) in compliance with SB 1953 (seismic safety law), and to provide additional out-patient treatment capacity and to consolidate its Redwood City operations by relocating services and staff in leased spaces onto the Medical Center. The approximately 15-acre Medical Center is bounded by Veterans Boulevard, Maple, Marshall and Main Streets. The medical facilities replacement will occur in five phases between 2004 and 2025.
