Document Description
This proposed Project involves the development of the next phase of the Victorville Sanitary Landfill, known as Phase 1B, which includes the development of Stages 4 and 5 only. Development of Phase 1B will occur on 7.65 acres of undeveloped land. Project Activities include grading and clearing using dozers, scrapers and water trucks. Access to the Project site is proposed via Stoddard Wells Road. The Project will result in incidental take of 15 western Joshua tree (Yucca brevifolia). which is protected under the WJTCA and the California Endangered Species Act. The WJTCA ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of western Joshua tree that may occur as a result of Project implementation.
