Zoning and General Plan designations are largely consistent with the existing pattern of land uses, including Residential (Low, Medium, High), Commercial (General, Professional), Industrial and Public (School, Park, Church, Civic Center).
Document Description
The proposed Project will adopt and implement a Redevelopment Plan in the City of Huntington Park. The proposed Project Area consists of approximately 912 acres and is the focus of this environmental assessment. The Community Development Commission of the City of Huntington Park has proposed the Project for the purpose of alleviating a blight and promoting reinvestment in the Project Area. Although no development or construction is proposed at this time, implementation of the Redevelopment Plan is expected to facilitate infrastructure improvement and rehabilitation activities consistent with the adopted City of Huntington Park General Plan.
