Document Description
The project consists of minor modifications to the current Los Angeles Mission College Facilities Master Plan, approved in March 2007. The modifications include: Combining Building No. 6 (originally planned on the Main Campus to occupy 30,000 gross square feet (gsf) with Education Building No. 5 (originally planned on the East Campus to occupy 30,000 gsf) into one building, Professional Health & Science Building and Center for Applied Science and Technology (~95,183 gsf) on the East Campus; adding a Central Plant (5,000 gsf) to the East Campus for heating and cooling of East Campus facilities; eliminating Underground Parking Structure B1 on the East Campus and replacing with a surface parking lot with solar panels and wind turbines; eliminating the extension of Eldridge Avenue from Harding Street to Maclay Street through the East Campus and improving Harding Street north of Eldridge Avenue and the intersection of Harding Street and Maclay Street.
