Document Description
The New Roads Educational Valley project involves the construction of three, 3-story structures continaing a total of approximately 115,000 square feet to house the following uses above a 172-space subterranean garage; a preschool, six elementary school classrooms, a multi-purpose room, 10 middle school classrooms, 14 high school classrooms, 13 specialty clsasrooms (i.e., classrooms not continuously occupied by students during teh school day), a library, a gymnasium, locker rooms, a 350-seat performing arts theater, a leadership center/faculty room, janitor facilities, workshop ropoms, specialty dance/music rooms, restrooms, storage facilities, and administrative offices. Outdoor recreational facilities for the schools are also proposed. The existing 13,631 square foot New Roads High School will be demolished.
