The parcels adjacent to the well site are also zoned Public Facility, which allows for the construction and opeation of such public facilities without significant land use compatibility issues.
The proposed project consists of development and production of a vertical well using the existing well casing. A submersible pump with a 10 (+/-) horsepower submersible electric motor, power cable, and discharge piping will be installed within the well casing. A small segment (approximately 100 feet to 250 feet) of pipe is needed to connect the well to the existing water main and a small protective structure will be built on top of the reinforced concrete slab surrounding the well casing in the center of the graded well pad.
