Document Description
The proposed addition to the Jefferson Middle School, the "Project", consists of the construction of a new two (2)-story classroom building. The proposed new classroom building will replace all the temporary and relocatable structures and provide 19,628 square feet of permanent classroom space with sixteen (16) new classrooms. In additon to the construction of new buildings are all the associated work, new electrical, lighting, water, sewer, storm drains, landscaping, fire protection systems, and site accessibility ramps along the current pedestrian ways. Also proposed is the reconfiguration of the existing parking facilities and slightly increasing the parking capacity from forty-two (42) parking spaces to forty-seven (47) parking spaces; reconfigure the existing playground and playfield; remove temporary trailers; and implement the District's ADA transition plan and provide ramps for disabled access.
