Document Description
The Community Road Widening project proposes a 4,000 linear foot road improvement that the 1,300 linear foot widening of the east side of Community Road from two to four lanes located along a segment between Ketron Avenue and Aubrey Street. The improved roadway width will be increased from an average of 60 feet to 74 feet and will include four 12-foot wide travel lanes, two 5-foot bike lanes, and a 16-foot wide, painted, median within a public right-of-way that varies in width between 98 and 104 feet. A meandering 8-foot wide sidewalk and landscaping will be placed within the remaining public the right-of-way on the east side of the road. The remaining existing four lane segments of the road, approximately 2,700 feet, will be overlaid with new asphalt and striping.
