Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Amendment No. 1, a major amendment to Streambed Alteration Agreement (SAA) number 1600-2019-0151-R4, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the Project Applicant, California Department of Transportation.
The Project involves: 1) construction of a new State Route 156 bridge over San Juan Creek, 2) widening of a segment of the East Ditch, 3) construction of a new Mission Vineyard Road bridge over East Ditch, and 4) installation of a new underground gas pipeline and abandonment of the old gas pipeline across East Ditch, all in association with the larger State Route 156 widening Project occurring between (and beyond) the cities of Hollister and San Juan Bautista. The Amendment revises the Project Description to include utility relocation work within the original Project footprint.
