Document Description
The 5.28-acre project site is currently partially developed as a hospital and medical office building and is known as the former Anacapa Hospital site. The hospital and medical office building occupy 4.31 acres of the overall site area. These facilities are no longer in operation and the structures have been vacated. The existing structures would be demolished as part of the project. The northerly 0.97 acres of the site are vacant and have been held as a possible expansion site for the hospital.
The proposed project would involve the construction of 49 dwelling units comprised of 22 small lot single family detached homes and 27 single-family detached homes at an overall density of 9.3 units per acre.
