Document Description
The applicant proposes four projects. Project #1 will reduce the amount of sediment entering Pescadero Creek and re-establish riparian vegetation by reducing the steepness of the left bank by pulling back the embankment face to 50 percent or shallower. Project #2 is to provide water for dust abatement on logging roads associated with THP 1-01-329 SCR. Project #3 is the replacement of two undersized culverts in an unnamed class II stream. Project #4 is the removal of a buried culvert and eroded road fill where an unnamed Class II is crossed by an unsurfaced seasonal road. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement R3-2001-0900, pursuant to section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, James E. Greig of J.E. Greig, Inc. Consulting Forester.
