Document Description
California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement pursuant to Section 1603 of the Fish and Game Code to the project applicant, Mr. L.R. Burzell, representing Yuima Municipal Water District. The applicant proposes to alter the streambed within four unnamed drainages, tributaries to the San Luis Rey River, to accommodate the construction of the Yuima Municipal Water District 16 inch parallel pipeline segment. Project activity consists of the installation of a 16 inch diameter buried water transmission pipelinewith a total length of 8,500 feet. Installation will involve the excavation of a five foot deep, thirty inch wide trench across four drainages, emplacement of the pipe and backfilling of the trench . The pipe will be suspended on an existing bridge above a fifth drainage. The project impacts 0.10 acre of streambed.
