CDFG is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement (SAA#R5-2002-0192) pursuant to Section 1601 of the Fish and Game Code with the project applicant, Public Works Department, City of Escondido. The applicant proposes to fill and place flow into underground pipes, and alter the remaining surface flow into underground pipes, and alter the remaining surface flow of two unnamed tributaries to Escondido Creek for the purpose of constructing an urban park, and a future public high school. The project is located on the east side of the intersection of Valley Center Road and East Washington Avenue, in the City of Escondido, in San Diego County.
