Document Description
Encroachment permit application number 0202-NDM-0493 for Modac National Forest to place rockslope protection in drainage within state right of way. The forrest is planning to repair headcuts at six locations within Howard's Gulch, a perennial stream on the west side of the highway. The work will occur on Forest property except one headcut. Location which is within State right of way. Repair of the headcut within State right of way will stop erosion which is progressing towards the roadway. The forest has approved a Categorical Exclusion Determination in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act.
