Document Description
The proposal is to divert 36.8 acre feet of water from Russian River for vineyard irrigation. Water diverted under riparian rights via 1,000 gallon per minute pump and distributed to 600 acres of vineyard. Historically, Gallo has excavated small channel through gravel bar to main channel of river to feed pump intake. Pump intake fitted with screen with Department of Fish and Game screening specifications. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement Number R3-2001-0750 pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1603.
