Document Description
The proposal consists of the following components which together describe the project:
1. Adoption of two zoning ordinances, a Landfill Disposal District (LDD) and a Landfill Ancillary District (LAD), that will prescribe the conditioins and restrictions under which a regional landfill may be operated in Amador County, and a compatible general plan designation.
2. Acquisition by purchase or trade certain land north of the Landfill Property to be included in the Landfill Property.
3. Application of the newly adopted zoning districts to all or part of the Landfill Property.
4. Marketing and sale of the Landfill Property to a private company for operation of a regional landfill.
