The proposed project includes realigning and widening the eastbound on and off ramps to State Route 37 to properly align the interchange with the proposed internal roadway system on Mare Island. The existing Walnut Avenue overcrossing roadway connection from the eastbound off ramp to the westbound on ramp would be eliminated. A bicycle/pedestrian path is proposed along the south side of SR37, crossing under the bridge structure to provide access to the north.
