Document Description
The project would require demolition of the existing gas station facilities and service bays at the project site, with the exception of the existing underground storage tanks (USTs) and some on-site landscaping. Facilities proposed for demolition include the service bays, canopy, pumping islands, concrete walkways, planters, fencing, and parking spaces. In addition three cork oak trees, one 7-inch live oak tree, and one 14-inch live oak tree would be removed from the site and one live oak tree would be removed from the existing planter areas in the southern and eastern portions of the site. The USTs would remain in their current location. Approximately 8 feet of the existing median along the entrance to the Bon Air Shopping Center is proposed to be removed to facilitate turning movements for vehicles existing the gas station via the Bon Air Shopping Center driveway.
