The City of West Sacramento has requested the legislative relinquishment of State Route (SR) 84 within the City limits. SR 84 is a Caltrans-owned highway on Jefferson Blvd. and Reed Avenue. The relinquishment limits of SR 84 total approximately 9 miles beginning at the City's southern limits and ending at interstate 80. The project area is defined by the SR 84 rights-of-way.
