Document Description
The proposed South Lake Tahoe Juvenile Hall would be used for detention, treatment and commitment programs for juvenile offenders. When minors are detained in the proposed Juvenile Hall they would be screened for medical and mental health issues. The proposed facility would be capable of incarcerating juveniles classified from minimum security to maximum security. Perimeter security would be screened for medical and mental health issues. The proposed facility would be capable of incarcerating juveniles classified from minimum security to maximum security. Perimeter fencing and would be designed to incarcerate maximum-security juveniles.
