Document Description
As Phase 2b of the Martin Slough Interceptor Project, the City of Eureka is proposing to construct force main piping from the new Martin Slough pump station in the Eureka Municipal Golf Course to the Elk River Wastewater Treatment Plant using both trenching and trenchless methodologies, including horizontal directional drilling (HDD). The City is constructing the portion of this force main piping between the new pump station and APN 302-171-035 as a separate project (HDD Project). A portion of the HDD Project is the subject of this coastal development permit and includes approximately 1,300 LF of pipeline to be installed using horizontal directional drilling (HDD) methodology, pipeline laydown and staging areas, and temporary access improvements.
