Document Description
As Phase 2b of the Martin Slough Interceptor Project, the City of Eureka is proposing to construct force main piping from the new Martin Slough pump station in the Eureka Municipal Golf Course to the City of Eureka Elk River Wastewater Treatment Plant. The City is currently constructing the portion of this force main piping between the new pump station and the Carrington property (APN 302-171-035). The City is proposing to construct the remaining 4,350 LF of force main piping by open-trench and horizontal directional drilling (HDD) construction methods, portions of which are located within the NR and AC zoning districts where the pipeline is a conditionally permitted use. In addition to pipeline installation, this CUP includes pipeline laydown and staging areas, and temporary access improvements.
