The Project involves the modification of Lerdo and Poso Creek Spill Canals and the construction of pipelines, canals, pumping plants and spreading ponds for the importation of additional supplemental water; the construction of works for the diversion of the Cawelo Water District's Poso Creek appropriative right for direct irrigation delivery and for groundwater banking, and the rehabilitation of existing wells along with the construction of additional wells for the extraction of banked groundwater for indirect delivery, or by exchange, for the irrigation of crops within the Cawelo Water District.
