1,140 feet of the Salinas Reclamation Channel (Reclamation Ditch No. 1665) between North Main Street and Highway 101 would be widened from 10 to 14 feet and laid back from 1:1 to 1.5:1 ratio. Authroized fill material stockpiled on site would be separated and compacted to raise property elevations to at least the 45 foot elevation to raise the site above the 100 year floodplain by about 2 feet.
