The proposed project is a request for a Conditional Use Permit to legalize an existing guest ranch and riding academy. Associated with this application are the following accessory structures; nine equine stables/pipe corrals, two tack rooms, two animal pens, a riding circle, and fenced pastureland and arena. Current activities associated with the operation of the guest ranch/riding academy include the board and care of thirty (30) equines and two goats, private horse riding lessons, overnight and day-only visitors participating in guided horseback riding trips on nearby trails. There are three guest rooms located in the existing single-family residence for overnight visitors to the guest ranch/riding academy.
