Document Description
Eastern Municipal Water District proposes to abandon the existing First Street Sewer Lift Station and sewer force main and install a new sewer pipeline. The 30 year old First Street Sewer Lift Station, which conveys raw sewage to the Temecula Valley Regional Water Reclamation Facility for treatment, has exceeded its capacity and useful life. The District has determined that it will be more efficient and economical to install new 15-inch gravity sewer pipeline to convey sewage flows to the TVRWRF via the new Pujol Lift Station. The proposed project consists of installation of approximately 320 lineal feet of sewer pipeline across Murrieta Creek on the south side of First Street and approximately 200 lineal feet of sewer pipeline under First Street east of the bridge. Both the existing First Street Sewer Lift Station and sewer force main will be abandoned.
