Request to demolish an existing rental unit on mulit-family property. The unit is a separate structure located in the southeast (rear) corner of the property. The property is included as a contributor to the Third Street Neighborhood Historic District. The main residence on the property (at 2607 Third Street) is the most visible from the street and is not included in the proposed demolition. A second unit (2609 Third Street), in the northeast corner of the property, would also remain. The area of demolition would be landscaped and there is no replacement project contemplated on the parcel.
